Welcome to Fodoq! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our platform for food ordering and delivery services. By using Fodoq, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

At Fodoq, we take pride in showcasing delightful product images, including cakes and pastries. However, please be aware that the actual delivered food items may vary slightly in appearance. Factors such as seasonal availability, the artistic touch of our talented bakers, and individual customization can influence the final design.


1. Service overview

Fodoq facilitates transactions between customers ("buyers") and restaurants/merchants ("merchants") for the purchase of food, beverages, and related products ("products") as well as the completion of specific tasks ("tasks"). Our platform also coordinates the delivery of orders and completion of tasks in select serviceable areas across India through independent third-party delivery partners ("PDPs").

2. Role of Fodoq

Fodoq acts as an intermediary connecting buyers, merchants, and PDPS. We provide a platform where buyers can place orders from various merchants and engage in tasks. Our services encompass both the platform for transactions ("platform services") and the coordination of deliveries and tasks ("delivery services"), collectively referred to as "services."

3. Delivery partners (PDPS)

Our delivery services are provided by independent delivery partners ("PDP") who operate on a voluntary basis. PDPS are not our employees, and we do not exert control over them. They are responsible for their work timings and service quality. PDPs may charge a service fee based on factors like distance, time, demand, and weather conditions.

4. Amendments

These terms may change over time. We reserve the right to modify our terms and policies and will notify you of any changes. It is your responsibility to stay updated with these changes. By continuing to use our services after modifications, you accept the updated terms and policies.

5. Use of platform and services

Fodoq provides a platform for buyers to interact with merchants and PDPs. The terms of sale, including price, delivery terms, and warranties, are agreed upon solely between buyers and merchants. Fodoq may provide support services to merchants and PDPs, but we don't control commercial terms.

6. PDP services and complaints

When PDPs accept orders or tasks, they enter into separate service contracts with merchants/buyers. We are not responsible for PDP services. However, we may assist in order fulfillment and complaint resolution. Similar assistance is offered for task completion services.

7. Buyer and merchant relations

Fodoq is not responsible for non-performance or breaches of contracts between buyers and merchants or buyers/merchants and PDPs. We are not liable for stock availability, delays, or unsatisfactory services. The contract for sale of products or services is strictly between the merchant and the buyer.

8. Content and communication

Users must not post harmful, inappropriate, or misleading content on our platform. We reserve the right to remove such content. Users shall not engage in unauthorized activities, hacking, or impersonation. We may disclose user information as required by law or for security reasons.

9. Your information and privacy

By using Fodoq, you grant us the right to use your provided information as outlined in our privacy policy. You are responsible for accurate information, and you must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

10. Limitation of liability

Fodoq is not liable for the actions of merchants, PDPs, or other users. We do not endorse the quality or legality of products or services. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or issues arising from using our platform.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these terms. Users can also discontinue using our services at any time.

Fodoq Refund Policy

Introduction

At Fodoq, we strive to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their orders. However, we understand that there may be instances where you may seek a refund. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted.

Order cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order, please do so before the restaurant accepts it and moves it for cooking. Any cancellation requests made after the restaurant has accepted the order may not be eligible for a refund.

Incorrect or damaged orders

If you receive an incorrect order or if your order is damaged upon delivery, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will arrange for the incorrect or damaged item to be picked up and initiate a full refund or a replacement, as per your preference.

Late delivery

If your order arrives later than the promised delivery time, you may be eligible for a partial refund. Please note that this does not apply in cases of delay due to factors beyond our control, such as bad weather or traffic conditions.

Quality issues

If you are not satisfied with the quality of the food delivered, please contact our customer service team within 2 hours of receiving the order. We may require you to provide photographic evidence to support your claim. Once verified, we will initiate a refund.

Refund process

Refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 5-7 business days. If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank.
